FAQs

How do I upload requests?

However you like. We use ClickUp as the project management tool, but you can send requests via Slack, email, WhatsApp or carrier pigeon. We’ll then upload them to ClickUp, which you have full access to.

How many requests can I submit at a time?

As many as you want. All uploaded tasks go into the ‘Pending’ category, with one or two tasks (depending on your plan) in the ‘Active’ category and currently being worked on at any one time. Once complete, it’s moved to the ‘Approved’ stage as a record of completed work.

What is the average turnaround time?

Obviously that depends on the task. Quick lines of copy for social media or marketing collateral can potentially be done within a few hours. A typical blog post of around 1,500 words will usually be turned around in 3 business days.

Longer pieces such as White Papers or Case Studies will take longer, but we provide you with an estimated delivery date for every task once it’s uploaded.

Why wouldn’t I just hire a full time writer in-house?

Salaries for high quality writers with finance and fintech industry experience will come at a cost of $90,000 - $100,000 in the US. Add on health and retirement benefits, equipment and training and other costs on top of this salary, and you’re looking at a commitment of around $130,000 a year.

With us, you gain access to a high quality writing at a far lower cost than this, without the need to commit to a full time member of staff. You can cancel anytime and pick us back up when your needs change.

How can you have the time to offer no request or revision limits?

A few reasons. Firstly, we’ve been doing this for a while and we are experts in the finance and fintech space. That means we can work fast.

Secondly, we have a hard cap on the number of clients we work with at any one time. This actual number depends on the active plans, but it is generally only a maximum of 8 clients.

Lastly, we spend as much working time as possible, actually working (writing). We keep calls to an absolute minimum, we don’t have to attend mandatory HR or compliance meetings. Reducing ongoing communication gives us a lot more time to spend on creating great work for you.

Who does the writing?

All our work is completed by expert finance writers. Our Founder Jason Mountford writes a large percentage of the work himself, and extensively edits and reviews any work he doesn’t complete personally. He is the point of contact for all of our clients, and with a 15 year career in wealth management he has a deep understanding of the finance industry.

All writing is completed 100% by humans, with no AI intervention.

Do you offer refunds?

No, due to the lack of commitment required to sign up and the high quality of our writing, we don’t offer refunds.
